New Dutch LNG Duo

ConocoPhillips and Dutch energy utility Essent have come from nowhere to take the lead in efforts to develop an LNG receiving terminal in the Netherlands or near the Dutch-German border.Conoco and Essent hope to complete a feasibility study later this year into a possible joint LNG import terminal at the port of Eemshaven.An investment decision could come in 2007 at the earliest,in which case the terminal could be operational in 2010.
