Following on from Samsung's Galaxy camera, the Galaxy NX offers Wi-fi alongside 3G/4G data connectivity and full Android integration that's akin to a smartphone or tablet. It uses the tried and tested 20.3MP CMOS APS-C sized chip that's seen use before in the NX300 and provides an extensive ISO range of 100-25,600. To offer a fast and sprightly performance, Samsung has partnered the sensor with a DRIMe IV image signal processor that permits a maximum shutter speed of 1/6000sec and a continuous burst of 8.6fps. Ahead of the sensor it retains the Samsung NX lens mount that's supported by 13 NX lenses and incorporates a hybrid AF system, which uses a combination of phase detection and contrast detect.
