'EARLY LUPOS ARE SELLING WELL, AND FOR GOOD PRICES...' JUST TO PROVE that this particular column isn't all talk, I've put my money where my mouth is. In last month's issue of Volkswagen Driver, I talked about the buying and selling opportunities at GTI International. I don't know whether any of our readers were successful in doing cither of these things at the event, but I'm pleased to report that I bought a very clean J-plated Mk 2 GTI 16V in the Cars for Sale area at Inters, on Saturday, at a fair price. There were quite a few other sensibly-priced GTIs on sale at the event, which were attracting a lot of attention, and I imagine that quite a few of them will have actually changed hands during, or shortly after, the weekend...
