THE NAIAS Detroit Show (Jan 11-16) saw the world premiere of the new Tiguan GTE Active Concept, based on the completely redeveloped second generation of the Tiguan. Described as a 'progressive plug-in hybrid drive with maximum off-road power' this latest Volkswagen concept car is claimed to combine maximum efficiency with a powerful all-wheel drive system and, like the BUBB-e and e-Golf Touch we've seen recently at the CES event, it comes with a new infotainment system with gesture control.
