INDIVIDUAL EXPRESSION is a very strong motivational factor among young car enthusiasts, perhaps more so these days than it has ever been. Fuelled by the ready availability of a whole host of tuning and customising components, not to mention a strong individual imagination and enthusiasm, there's now no shortage of variations on a theme. And young car enthusiasts don't come much more enthusiastic than Vinesh Shah, from Wraysbury, near Windsor in Berkshire. A bright and instantly likeable young man, we first met Vin at GTI International last year when his Mk 4 GTI was displayed on the AmD Technik stand. Clearly, not even the howling wind and lashing rain was going to spoil his day out at the UK's greatest gathering of GTI enthusiasts.
