An approximately 6- to 8-week-old female Siamese cross kitten presented with severe lethargy and pale mucous membranes. The kitten was part of a feral litter, was not receiving any medications, and had not been vaccinated; however, the dam and litteras a whole were eating a dry commercial cat food provided by the person who brought the Idtten in for care. It was noted that this kitten seemed significantly smaller than her littermates.
