Bill Wade runs two classic John Deeres to manage his conservation fields. With so many new tractors at the sharp end of operations these days it is nice to see older tractors still at work, some operating brand new equipment. Two classic John Deere 4040s are still earning their keep with Bill Wade on his grassland farm in west Kent and lead a relatively quiet life these days since the farm changed from mixed/arable to solely conservation meadows.
