Comparison of whole tire reclaim and high tensile tire reclaim in a typical truck tire tread compound

The use of reclaim rubber in the manufacture of various tire compounds has gained prominence.With recent innovations and technology advances,Gujarat Reclaim has developed reclaim from truck tire tread waste that has improved physical properties.Tire manufacturers world over are beginning to recognize reclaim rubber as an important source of raw material after natural and synthetic rubbers.The major reasons for this are:inherent process benefits and the resultant price effectiveness;low and stable prices compared to recent volatility in the price of virgin rubbers;the need to counter the potential hazard of environmental degradation caused by waste tires;and the impetus by various governments for the use of recycled material in tire manufacturing.
