On Fuzzy y -continuity and y -compactness

Let (X, τ) be a fuzzy topological space. An operation γ on τ [2] is a mapping from r into I~x such that U ∈ γ(U) for every U ∈ τ . In this paper, the concept of γ-continuity and γ -compactness in fuzzy setting is defined. Also we have investigated some basic properties of these notions.
