A Patient's Feelings

People who plan education for doctors need to think about patients. I was in a coma for four months. The coma was induced because of an OR-acquired infection that turned into sepsis and became acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). One of my problems since the incident has been depression-I don't know how I got through the holidays, for about three weeks I went into this black hole; it happens once in a while. Every time I hear of some person who is dying or sick, or the soldiers, or my aunt in Iraq, I start feeling as if I do not have any hope that God is really around-I know that (this) is a bad way to describe this!
