The country has decided and we must unite behind the decision and move forward. Many of us in leadership are used to being a part of a governing board and accepting corporate responsibility. Ideas are presented, robust debates follow, opposing views are expressed with passion and firm belief on all sides of the debate. But, in the end, when the vote is taken on the motion, there is a need for those in the seats of power to take a position of collective responsibility for the decision that has been made. And this is what we expect our government to do following the vote of the people in the EU referendum.
