Different e-Learning environments can be joined into global educational networksimilar to Internet where learner entities such as trainers, groups or individualscan access remote learning resources asynchronously. Such integration could beachieved by content-based extension to basic network infrastructure, which wecall Learning Content Network (LCN). The paper covers detailed behaviour androles of LCN physical entities by analysing major use-cases: content creation,passive and active content distribution, content delivery, content advertisementand selection.
