Among home electric appliances, washing machines, air conditioners, refrigerators, electronic cooking machine, cleaners, dish washing machine are called as white goods. The market of white goods have been calm for long time, because they are used in daily home life environment, so they are strongly affected by living environment and culture of the society where they are used. Meanwhile they are large in size adapting themselves to living environment, so that export and import of these products had been generally small. For instance, air conditioner used in Japan must serve for cooling in summer, while it must serve for heating in winter, however, those used in ASEAN countries require only cooling. So specification of white goods should differ according to market's requirement, international competition has been small therefore limited, and competition in domestic market, that in specification in particular, has been stagnant. Vendors competed with price, additional services, etc., making red ink figures. Two years ago, majority of home electric appliance divisions were suffering from unfavorable business and major general electric companies promoted restructure. When digital technology and home network technology have progressed, environment has changed.
