It seems very strange that we continue to talk about advances in NVH analysis while, at the same time, car manufacturers want to give up testing - the bean counters say that testing takes too much time and money, and results in a longer time-to-market for cars. Modeling can do it all, the big-wigs say, spurred on by the modelers' claims that their work is more accurate than testing. Unfortunately, the reality is that modelers are not there yet, so the 'nuisance' of testing must be tolerated.
