Taiwan's FPCC Plans To Lower Operations Rate Of Its crackers

Taiwan's Formosa Petrochemical Corporation, or FPCC, plans to further reduce operations rate of 1,035,000 ton-per-year No. 2 naphtha cracker and 1,200,000 tpy No.3 naphtha cracker from June 20th, which are running at 85% of capacity. Because its affiliate company Nan Ya Plastics Corporation decided to halt four plants at Hai Fong factory step by step by 20th, FPCC will be unable to supply ethylene to these plants.
