摘要

We chose this topic to research because we feel there is a lack of knowledge about the way that pulp variations,beating and calendering affect the barrier properties of greaseproof paper.Very little research has been done on greaseproof paper,so our study meets an industrial need.The most difficult aspect of this research was trying to control the production conditions for the different pulps to obtain the same barrier properties on the final sheet.
