A recent straw poll of some of the UK plastic industry's larger players suggests to me that while much of the domestic economy has been going downhill fast - like, who'd want to work in the High Street at the moment? - trading in the sector has held up pretty well.This is admittedly counter-intuitive; given the consumer downturn surely the recessionary ripples have reached the shores of the plastic industry?
