摘要

This study conducted a questionnaire survey to understand citizen cognition of the stray dog issue in Taipei. This study collected and analyzed 480 effective responses regarding demographic factors, and the cognition and attitudes toward the stray dogissue in Taipei from respondents with or without watching the film Twelve Nights. This work revealed two key findings. First, the respondents' gender, age, education level, and occupation were strongly related to their cognition and attitudes toward stray dogs. Second, the movie Twelve Nights significantly raised the social concern and awareness toward stray dogs issue.
