Testicular cancer, although relatively uncommon, represents the most common tumor in males aged 15-34 years. For unknown reasons, the incidence has been increasing in the United States, Europe, and many countries worldwide within the past 30 years. During that interval, testicular cancer has become the most curable solid tumor, with cure rates >90%, even for patients who present with advanced disease.No early symptoms are specific for primary testicular neoplasms other than slight changes in testicular size and consistency, usually occurring gradually, rather than suddenly.
