摘要

The work describes the application of Thiobacillusferrooxidans bacteria for leaching of brown coal from open castmines Most. Bacterial leaching was performed in airlift reactorfor one month. The process of desulphurization was monitoredduring leaching in one-week intervals by determination of sulphurand petrographical analysis of 3 samples of coal. From the resultsof the research we can see, that the application of clean bacteriaculture Thiobacillus ferrooxidans on brown coal samples is asuccessful way its desulphurization. After one month was levelof desulphurization of total sulphur from 42 to 52 percent, wheredesulphurization of pyritic sulphur was from 83 to 90 percent.
