Photophysics of π-conjugated metal-organic oligomers

摘要

The optical absorption and photoluminescence properties of PPE-type π-conjugated oligomers that contain a 2,2-bipyridine-5,5′-diyl metal coordinating unit have been examined. The spectra of the free oligomers are compared with those that contain-Re(CO)_(3)Cl and (-Ru(bpy)_(2))~(2+) chromophores chelated to the bpy-diyl unit.
