摘要

The peculiarities of the macrokinetics of rapid polymerization processes in turbulent flows (when the times of the chemical reaction are less than or comparable to those of the reagent mixing) are discussed. Particular attention is given to the modeling of early stages of the tubular reactor where monomer and catalyst are mixed. The effects of processes such as macromixing and micromixing on monomer conversion are analyzed. New criteria for defining different kinds of macrokinetic conditions for rapid polymerization in turbulent flows are proposed. [References: 23]
