The Huntsman Polyurethanes Foot-wear division has introduced a range of transparent TPUs under the name Avalon Crystal.Developed for use in soles and accessories,the materials are said to combine clarity with strength,flexibility,and abrasion resistance.As a result,says Huntsman,Avalon Crystal TPUs "extend the creative possibilities for manufacturers... [and enable]them to set their design styles apart from the competition."
