Biodegradability

Biodegradability is the ability of the natural environment to chemically decompose a product like a package. Some materials are decomposed in organic parts at a quicker pace than the others, what is known as a Biodegradable material. Thus, the measurement of the material's Biodegradability can determine how long it will last in the current form. The process leading to Biodegradability is essentially the decomposition or putrefaction. An object that has been buried in Soil or abandoned will gradually be distintegrated by surrounding microorganism's bacteria and by exposure to elements.
