Intestinal infections including coccidiosis and necrotic enteritis in chickens and histomoniasis and other protozoal infections in turkeys were highlighted at the 2004 Meeting of the American Association of Avian Pathologists held concurrently with the American Veterinary Medical Association Congress in Philadelphia earlier this year.
