Viruses In Poultry Production

Poultry producers should seriously consider the nature of viruses and how they behave in order to evaluate their own situation with the aim of improving conditions and reducing the risk of virus disease challenge. Viruses are the smallest known infectious organisms. Their sizes vary from 20 nanometre for the smallest known types to 300 nanometre for the largest. In other words in 1 cm one could fit between 300,000 to 5,000,000 viruses end to end!
