Accredo Packaging reduces carbon footprint

Sugarland, Texas-based Accredo Packaging Inc. has recently moved a step closer to becoming a low-carbon-footprint manufacturer of flexible packaging and extruded films. Accredo, which started in August 2009, has a flexible packaging production facility which is 100% wind-powered. The design of the facility minimizes carbon emissions during the production process. Building materials were sourced locally, and recycled materials were used wherever possible.
