Erratum to 'Epidemiology of potentially inappropriate medication use in elderly patients in Japanese acute care hospitals' and 'Clinical prediction rule to identify high-risk inpatients for adverse drug events: The JADE Study'

Because of the errors in calculating the number of patient-days and classifying the race, we would like to correct the numerical numbers in our previous reports on the basis of the same cohort study.In the Results section of Abstract on page 386 of the first publication in 2011, the rates of BL drug prescriptions should read 53.6 rather than 53.7. In the first line of the Results section on page 388, patient-days should read 41705 rather than 41649. In the third Line of the third paragraph of the Results section on page 388, the rates of prescribed BL drugs should read 53.6 rather than 53.7.In the Table 1 on page 389 (the number and the percentage of Race), 2141 (99.4) should be 2145 (99.5), 1202 (99.4) should be 1204 (99.6), and 939 (99.3) should be 941 (99.5).
