IRISH ENGINEERS MAINTAIN STRONG LINKS WITH LONDON'S HUNDRED-YEAR-OLD IMPERIAL COLLEGE

Throughout its history Imperial College has had a number of Irish engineers pass through its doors. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering has particularly strong Irish connections. The Department's activities include undergraduate and postgraduate (MSc) teaching as well as research across all aspects of civil engineering. There are Irish links to all these activities and it is interesting to recall just a few of them at this point in the college's history.
