Passive Safety of Rail Vehicles: Report on the 9th International Symposium in Berlin 21st and 22nd of February, 2013

The 9th International Symposium on "Passive Safety of Rail Vehicles - Innovation in Passive Safety and Interior Design", organized by an international organization committee and the German Interdisciplinary railway research Association, took place in Berlin on the 21st and 22nd of February 2013. The participation of 92 experts of 15 countries from railway industries, operators, research institutes and administrations is another demonstration of the actuality of this subject matter as in previous symposia [1, 2].
