While reading the first installment of Terminal Technology-Part 1, in WWS's October/November 2006 issue, one may have gotten the impression that Maher Terminals Logistics, Tideworks Technologies and Embarcadero Systems were the only firms that have developed technology to improve the operating capabilities of marine terminals. The truth is that these companies have had a distinct impact on the industry, but they compete with a number of other systems development companies, one that has been in business since 1988.
