From the 'stylisti' to the 'street'

If Lineapelle is the temple of trends, then GDS is the forum where fashion moves from the hands of the designers, is reinterpreted and takes to the street. Gathering 1,800 exhibitors into 11 halls for the benefit of some 50,000 buyers and visitors, GDS in Dusseldorf is acknowledged as the world's largest footwear fair; this spring it tempted over 600 Italian manufacturers to show their collections, followed by major contingents from Spain (228), Germany (214), China (97), France (80) and Great Britain (72), as well as Portugal (70) and Holland (66).
