China Opens Consultation on Revised Draft of Copyright Law

The newest proposed re-write of China's Copyright Law makes few substantial changes from an earlier version and still lacks clarity in some areas of copyright protection, a practitioner told Bloomberg BNA June 18. The State Council Legislative Affairs Office (SCLAO) released the revised draft on June 6 and is seeking public comment until July 5.
