Japan Patent Office Set to Connect to WIPO CASE System

The Japanese government has made plans to share patent screening results with Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom under the World Intellectual Property Organization's Centralized Access to Search and Examination system, known as WIPO CASE. The Japan Patent Office will be able to look up dossier information including examination results from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, IP Australia and the UK Intellectual Property Office.
