The new Veritas DX60 and NX60 Block Planes are as different in style from the standard plane as the Chrysler Building is to a post-and-beam barn. The elegant, polished art deco design of the tool would not look out-of-place on the workbench in Flash Gordon's spaceship. Both planes are functionally identical-the largest differences are looks, level of finish, and price-a bit like how Ford pickup trucks are marketed.
