It is always surprising to British enthusiasts how much Ray Hunt's pioneering work seems to be downplayed in the United States. For example, I understand that he does not even appear in your National Sailing Hall of Fame. I was therefore delighted to see the article in WoodenBoat No. 245 on Ray Hunt's development of the deep-V powerboat hull.
