Devices Address Trend toward Lower Operating Ranges in Mobile/ Portable Devices

To meet design engineers' needs, Fairchild Semiconductor has developed the universal, multifunction configurable 74AUP family of TinyLogic? devices. The family is comprised of configurable logic gates that enable multiple logic functions from a single two-input device. The 74AUP family can do up to nine different logic functions: AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, XNOR, MUX, inverter, and buffer. This enables design engineers to use one part for multiple functions, which helps purchasing meet the need to reduce overall part count.
