Reports examine green performance

The concrete Pipeline Sys terns Association (CPSA) has produced a series of three reports, rigorously assessed by carbon management consultants Carbon Clear, to examine the environmental performance of pipeline systems. The aim is to establish a better understanding of the process of carbon measurement across the supply chain and for calculating the environmental impact of entire pipeline systems including: manufacture, transport and installation. The reports cover: 1. A cradle-to-gate lifecycle assessment of precast concrete pipes and manholes 2.A cradle-to-site comparison of concrete and plastic pipeline systems.
