Task force to boost apprenticeships

The launch and formation of a Cross Industry Apprenticeships Task Force has received government backing. The task force will investigate ways in which the numbers of employers active in the recruitment and training of apprentices can be increased. The Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) has been invited to get involved with the ConstructionSkills-facilitated initiative, and has accepted a place on the task force.
