Affordable Housing Isn't an Oxymoron in Cupertino Anymore

Cupertino is known for its excellent school system, beautiful mountains, friendly neighborhoods ― and high housing prices. The January 2003 median price for a three-bedroom, two-bath home was $727,500, and million-dollar homes are commonplace. Affordable housing has not been a viable option in Cupertino, which like other Silicon Valley cities has little, if any, available buildable land.
