First national restoration workshop

The Inland Waterways Association and Canal & River Trust are due to hold their first joint national waterways restoration workshop in May, to address the challenges facing restoration groups across the country. The workshop is hoped to become an annual event, bringing together waterway restoration groups with local authorities and other interested bodies. The organisers want to encourage groups to foster new relationships and highlight areas where more support might be needed to progress slow or stalled restoration schemes.
