Braidbar Boats always exhibit at Crick and this year they have a 62ft semi-trad on display. Mei Long has been built as a long-distance cruiser for its experienced owners, with space for guests to accompany them. The Tim Tyler shell is clearly well built, with a graceful bow and sheer to the stern, finished in superb paintwork with signwriting and decoration by the talented Andy Russell. Unusually, the roof has a brilliant scumbled finish aft of the mock engine room deck beam - a feature not commonly found on recently built craft, but in-keeping with the boat's colour scheme.
