New Concept Boats brought a 60ft by 12ft wide-beam to sell at the show, but confusingly the large price tag kept increasing throughout the event. It started out at £86,500 on Saturday morning and rose steadily to £105,000 by Monday morning. The reason? Live bids were being taken at the show and on Ebay. The Aintree shell has a curved stern with seating, wheel steering on the starboard side and a pram cover. The massive living space is reverse layout; the galley has an individual 12V fridge and 12V freezer fitted under the white granite worktop. The gas hob and oven are against the tiled back wall, giving short pipe runs from the stern gas locker. The saloon has a free-standing sofa and Morso Squirrel stove. The starboard side corridor leads past a second small single bedroom that will convert to a double with wardrobe, a bathroom with a P-shaped bath and shower screen, a cassette toilet and a square ceramic sink.
