Sixty-foot narrowboat Peaky Blinder was fitted out by Steve Wedgwood as a showcase for his Kings Lock Chandlery business beside the Trent & Mersey Canal in Middlewich. Exhibited at the boat show with a price tag of £120,000, it sold on the first day. This cruiser-stern boat has a seemingly simple fit-out. The white ceilings and walls, with wood veneer below the gunwale, give a light and airy feel. The galley at the stern has black granite worktops, an inset stainless steel sink to port and a full gas cooker opposite. The saloon has L-shaped seating and a Morso Swift multi-fuel stove fitted onto a Kings Lock steel hearth. The main bedroom has the double bed across the boat and neat little alcoves either side at the head with charging points and heating controls. The walk-through bathroom has a large white quadrant shower and bowl sink on a granite surface. The front cabin has seats either side and will make up as a second bedroom.
