Widely regarded as one of the watershaping industry's great creative forces, David Tisherman used his column in WaterShapes to communicate about specific techniques, qualities and features he has used to elevate his work. As both teacher and provocateur, he bluntly urged readers to wake up to every project's design possibilities. He seldom minced words, but his intention - his raw desire to get watershapers to see the world in more sophisticated ways - was borne of his conviction that watershapes can and should be seen as works of art. He may have rankled some with his unvarnished, opinionated passion, but his "Details" defined a world of possibilities best obtained through an unyielding pursuit of quality and excellence.
