TREATMENT OF MUNICIPAL LANDFILL LEACHATE BY SBR

摘要

A four month leachate treatment trial was conducted at a landfill site in Melbourne. The results shoVed that the sequencing batch reactor (SBR) was the preferred treatment process, as it achieved the highest ammonia removal rate and provided the most stable operation. Details of its performance are provided. The adopted design ammonia loading rate was 0.09 g NH_3/g VSS.d, and the design MLSS was 2500 mg/L.
