THE EVOLUTION OF WET GROWTH REGULATIONS: CITY OF SANTA FE

City staff and consultants are currently evaluating dozens of new water resource policies and projects in order to plan for a sustainable water supply. The evolution of wet growth regulation in Santa Fe has been a combined reaction to the municipal acquisition of the water utility and the recent drought conditions. The city has adopted a range of resolutions, ordinances, and agreements that integrates land and water use and which are focused on long range water supply planning.
