This indicator characterizes the amount and quality of resources that are directly or indirectly dependent on water quality and/or quantity. It includes measures that can indicate whether resources in the environment associated with water are impacted by changes in the biogeo-chemical integrity of aquatic ecosystems. Such measures include fish contamination and the percentage of impaired water bodies.
