Seychelles receives funding for water and wastewater improvements

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing €27 million ($35 million) for an investment Programme to secure potable water and wastewater Provision in the Seychelles, which is currently threatened by irregulär rainfall and increasingly long dry periods.There are planned Upgrades to the island's water, as well as new sewer facilities and measures to reduce water loss.
