Jigsaw Cities: Big Places, Small Spaces is presented as an ideal book for policy-makers, students, organisations and environmental specialists. This, and the fact that the authors Anne Power and John Houghton represent both academia and practice, is a good example of the commendable ambition to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge between the field of theory and that of practice. In my view, the book is as relevant for urban researchers, especially those interested in the British context.
